Shorts. Easy-to-wear, comfortable and great for this heat. Hands-down one of my favourite pieces of clothing. This post is the first of a trilogy where I'll show you how shorts can be worn to look formal, semi-formal and casual. Today I'm showing you how to dress up your shorts so you can wear them to a party or a glam dinner date {with a guy or your girlfriends}. The key to making shorts look dressy is to pair them with formal items. I paired these simple black shorts with a violet satin blouse, bangles, a leather strap watch and elegant T-strap heels. The top and the shoes really make this outfit as the satin and the halter-neck of the top lend it sophistication while the T-strap heels complete the look. This outfit would work with pumps too. So this was part I. Part II and III coming soon. I sound like a movie director, don't I? I guess watching LOTR really had an effect on me. That Viggo Mortensen, swoon. Sorry, I digress. Ciao!
