Holidays! Flared jeans and flats? Hmm.

The Eid holidays have begun! And I've already started having fun fun FUN! Yeah, I should be a poet. These holidays I just feel like pushing my body to the limit. I'm going to hit the gym, play volleyball, go for long walks and do more outdoorsy pushing-body-to-the-limit-ey stuff.

I wore this with a cardigan to the movies yesterday. I wanted to see if these flared jeans would look better with flats. Hmm. I like it with my heels better. What do you think?

  3. Hi Shabana! I love reading fashion blogs and yours is one of the best that i've come across, love it! On a personal note, i really need your help. For quite sometime now i've been commented upon by quite a lot of people on being so short, especially the extended family (and they're all tall, ugh!) which really really annoys me. I wish they'd accept me the way I am. If u have the time, could you please give me some fashion tips? Tips that help me enhance this shortcoming and make it look not-so-despicable instead! I'm 17 but people think im younger than my sister in the 8th grade, so im sure u get the picture. I'm so sorry to trouble you, but i don't know why i think only you could help me.
    Thanks.

  4. Hi Sarah! Thank you for the compliments! First off, remember good things come in small packages and looking petite is very cute!
There are many things you can do to make yourself look taller. The most obvious one is to wear high heels. Start with 3 inch ones. Buy them and practice wearing and walking around with them at home. Wear V neck tops. You can even do a double V, by wearing a V neck top and a buttoned-up jacket on top to elongate the figure. Wear slightly longer tops in solid colours.
And there's nothing wrong with looking younger than your sister. As you grow older, you'll realize just how wanted this quality of 'looking younger' is!
