Shirt: Miss Selfridge, Shorts and Belt: Mango, Shoes: Dorothy Perkins, Bangles and Rings: Gifted, Necklace: F21, Watch: Vintage.

I wanted to do some serious shopping today. And since I was going to be trying on a lot of stuff, this shirt tucked into my denim shorts was perfect for easily getting in and out of. I wanted to keep the look very minimalist chic so I accessorized with a thin pink belt, silver bangles and my tiny  flower necklace and finished off the look with my blue pumps. I was having a bad hair day (literally!) so I tied it up in a ponytail. {Note: Do NOT tie your hair up in a ponytail if you plan to try on lots of clothes. It's a dumb idea.}

I wanted to get a summer dress and a few other things. So there I was, in my shopping haven (aka Zara). After scouring the entire shop and having a sales assistant take the pile of clothes from my arm to the fitting room, (yep, I had that many) I went to try them on. After lots of, 'why-the-hell-is-my-body-like-this', 'that-dress-so-doesn't-look-like-that-on-the-hanger', 'this-skirt's-amazing-but-the-zipper-sucks', and 'this-doesn't-make-me-feel-like-doing-my-happy-dance' and just plain 'NO!'s, I finally found the perfect dress. It was the perfect material, hugged me in all the right places, the colour was just right and was in my budget. But, I had tried on the pink one and I wanted the mint one. And guess what? They didn't have it in my size.
Conclusion: Shopping in Bahrain sucks. Or it's just me and my bad hair day. Pfft.
