Day and Night Eye Shadows by UNE and Bourjois

UNE has come out with two ranges of eye shadows that are perfect for the holiday season, both for day wear and for all the parties this season brings.

Day Look
The Pearly Eye Palette has subtle, delicate and feminine colours and can alternate between matte and pearly pigments.
I used the Pearly Greige Harmony 06. It has two frosty tones- ecru {the greyish pale-yellow at the bottom}, bronzed taupe and a sfumato brown. Sfumato being the art of allowing tones and colours to gradually shade into each other, this eye shadow is great for creating a smoky eye. I love the ecru and the bronzed taupe shade and it has become one of my favourite day eye shadow shades.

I'm wearing the bronzed taupe shade in the above pictures. It's a lovely subtle colour that brightens up the eye and the face. The best thing about this eye shadow? 100% of the ingredients are from natural origin.

Night Look

Bourjois has launched the Color Edition 24H for Christmas 2013. Illuminating the eyes with a metallic finish, these eye shadows come in the iconic Bourjois cute little round pots. These are cream-to-powder finish. Creamy to the touch, they transform to powder when in contact with skin.

These are the shades I heart:

02 Or Désir: A metallic gold with a touch of light bronze, this to me is the most festive shade and perfect for my caramel skin. What I love about it is that it's not too showy.

04 Kaki Chéri: A metallic khaki with pretty golden flecks in it, this is great for glamming it up.

The color claims to hold for 24 hours, which means you can party all night without worrying about your eye shadow fading. The iridescence and metallic tones give a vibrant look and illuminate the face. I like to keep it simple with just the eye shadow and mascara, but you can play up the look by adding eye liner if you want.

So there you have it, eye shadows from Bourjois for creating day and night looks, for going from work to partaaaay!
