Claire's Colour Blocking and My Ankle Booties

I was blown away by my friend Claire Sparrow's style today when she waltzed into my office this morning. She's really rocking the colour blocking trend. It's definitely not an easy trend to follow, you can get it horribly wrong. But Claire totally carried it off by keeping all colours within the same colour family. And I love how her hot pink lipstick matches her pants. I ADORE her look, and she's so tempting me to get red/ pink pants for myself. (But I'm supposed to be saving up. Darn!) 

On another note, I love these ankle booties. Who says you can't wear ankle boots in summer?
