I've realized life's too short to put up with things that are boring or just plain uncomfortable. So whether it's a book I'm reading, a movie I'm watching, a party I'm at or a relationship I'm in, I'm not going to put up with it just because I started it. My time's much too precious to waste.

I think we really need to be selfish and give ourselves that much credit that we don't put up with discomfort of any sort, from any quarter. Why be in a situation that's less than amazing? Find the strength to say goodbye. To the bad book, crap movie, beautiful-but-ill-fitting dress, annoying job, imperfect relationship or even a bad country. You have to live with yourself. Make you happy.

    Good stuff. This, I realized just last year :-) It's never too early (or too late, in my case) to learn that lesson.
    I'd have never thought of mixing colors so confidently, but you do it well. It all looks lovely.
