There's just something about old-school fashion. It's simple. It's elegant. It's classy. Which is what I tried to go for with this simple H&M dress. The fit of this dress is beautiful and I didn't want to mess up the clean lines with chunky jewelry. Not only that, somehow this dress screamed, "I need pearls!". And nothing, NOTHING, beats the elegance of a string of real pearls.
Because I was already channeling Audrey with the black dress and pearls, I decided to add gloves. I did have a long moment of regret where I wished I had elbow-length black gloves but unless a fairy godmother appeared right there and then and granted my wish, these red leather ones would have to do. And I love the pop of color against the black. To complete the outfit I grabbed my clutch and put on tan ankle-strap heels. And then I went to Tiffany's.
