It's been a year of ups and downs. A year of smiles and frowns. A year of bitters and sweets. A year of triumphs and defeats.
If I had to sum it up, I'd have to say that this year for me was all about change. Especially me quitting my job without anything else in hand, and then finally becoming a freelance Marketing Consultant. {I thought my love affair with marketing and the world of advertising had come to an end. I was wrong. I guess we just love each other too much. More on that later.}
I also did my training in LesMills BODYBALANCE™ and received my international certification a few months later. I absolutely LOVE this program and I'm so glad I got certified in it. That opened a whole new door to learning more about Yoga, and meeting some amazing instructors who I now call friends.
Another highlight of the year was my trip to Thailand, where I visited Pattaya, Koh Samui and Bangkok. Travelling has such an amazing way of opening your mind while relaxing your body and soul.
And of course, my year was also defined by the countless small, happy moments I spent with loved ones; and with myself, growing, changing, and maturing. Change has a way of teaching us things we didn't know about ourselves. It brings out our resilience, our weaknesses, and our fears. I've learnt a great deal about myself this year, and I'm ever grateful for all the changes that happened or that I made happen. And I'm looking forward to 2015 and all the dreams, challenges and changes it's going to bring.
What about you? How was your year? What are you hoping for in 2015?
