Obviously, it was a windy, windy day. That didn't stop me from wearing a skirt, though. Especially this one. If it were shorter I'd be doing Marilyn- Monroe-subway-vent poses.
I was looking for an A-line black skirt for some time now and I was so glad when I chanced upon this in Bershka. I love that it hits just below the knees. An A-line black skirt is great for the office. It looks elegant and classy and does wonders for a straight-frame body like mine. I tucked in this beautiful royal blue satin blouse, and matched these four-color pumps to the top. Dainty white gold earrings and a white gold ring are my only accessories. My big red bag finished the look.
I'm absolutely loving the fact that high street brands like Aldo are making rip-offs of designer handbags. It's bad for the high-end designers that their designs are being copied, but that's the nature of the business. And I'm not dying to carry an MK or an Hermes or a Celine, but I DO love the shape of their bags. This way at least I can carry one that's similar in design. Although- I would never, EVER, buy a fake designer bag, that's just supremely tacky and screams BRAND VICTIM. Ugh.
Until next time,
xoxo
