Helloooo 2016! The new year is upon us and I feel like there's just sooo many things to do! The annoying thing is, this weather doesn't make me want to do anything! It's cold and rainy. All I feel like doing is snuggling under warm blankets all day and reading. It's always at this time of the year when I seriously wonder why humans don't hibernate.
On a positive note, at least it's cold enough for me to wear my olive cape. Yay! I received this as a gift a few months back and have been waiting for it to get cold so I can wear it. The material is synthetic, but it's soft and warm. I love the color and knew I was going to pair it with soft pink and cognac. I love the combination of green and pink. They're made for each other. But olive and cognac... ahh.. warm winter colors that go beautifully together. So a pink top, the olive cape, black skinnies to add a neutral element, and cognac boots to go with the cape. I added a long necklace with a statement pendant and simple earrings, and finished with several thin bracelets on one wrist and a statement watch on the other. Now all I need to do is get cracking on all the work, as well as all my new year resolutions!
