There's something so refreshing about a white blouse. Or a white anything in that case. I've always been a big fan of pussybows and this blouse with a formal collar, button-down and soft blouson sleeves nails the formal-yet-feminine feel. It's the perfect piece to contrast with the skirt since the milky white breaks the busyness of the floral print of the skirt, and the soft texture of the blouse contrasts with the stiffness of the skirt. The soft pink and cheerful floral print of the material had me hooked straightaway, and I knew I'd be making a midi skirt from it. It's a pure cotton, so the material is a bit stiff making it great for an A-line skirt. I added a little more girliness with these nude peep-toe heels with a knot design at the front, and finished with a big statement bag.
Ramadan is almost over and the long weekend is here. It'll be a break from formal work clothes for me! As usual, I'm looking forward to lots of family time, meeting friends, and of course, staying home with the kitten and reading.

Until next time,
