As you know, my blog completes one year on November 11. To celebrate, I'm going to pick one person to do a free style makeover. (If you're wondering how I'm going to pick the winner, watch this space). And today, the first sponsor for the makeover confirmed! Yippee! So, one lucky girl (sorry boys, this is only for girls) will get TWO pairs of shoes from New Look! I'm so excited! They have lovely shoes and boots. Recently, someone close to me told me, "You really shouldn't model. You're so nervous. I can see the nervousness in your eyes." I agree. I'm one nervous sparrow when I'm posing. But at least I'm doing what I really love doing, and I'm learning to be better at it along the way. It's been almost a year since I started this blog. I think I've learnt a few things so far, to say the least. Fashion and outfit blogging is a whole new world for me and I promised myself that whether I hardly have followers, or less page views, or hate comments, or a bad camera, I'll still keep doing it. And that's what I'm doing.

On another note, I recently made this pastel artwork. I wanted to symbolize the times when you really want to say something, but you have to keep quiet.

I love this excerpt and as soon as I read it I knew I wanted to post it.

On a style note, I like the brightness of the red against these gray trousers. I've always said that I like to dress one notch higher than expected, because you never know where the day takes you. And so today, I had to suddenly attend a press conference. I was very glad I was looking my confident best because there were a lot of photogs. You never want that moment when your face is in a magazine and you look less-than-gorgeous.
