A billowy cardi and my exciting January

It's always great to have a perfect cardigan. One that's snug, yet billowy. I love the triangular sides of this one from Pull & Bear, meaning I can wrap it around myself when I get too cold. Maybe I'll try pinning it with a brooch next time.

One thing I like about winter is that I get to wear stockings. It's the time when I dig out all my short skirts and wear them with stockings, like you saw with this black skirt in this post earlier. In today's outfit I paired this gold-studded sweater with this floral skirt, and wore the cardi on top to make it cozier. The stockings with the booties kept my legs cozy. Winter's great for layering, but be careful as you can easily look uncoordinated. Keep the layers thin, with one thick, warm one, and you're good.

My January started with a bang with lots of travel on the agenda. This weekend I'll be visiting this friend in Kuwait, and the week after that I'll be attending an event for Inglot in Dubai. All this after having spent my new year's out of the country.

And of course, blog-wise, I'm happy 2015 began with this Bourjois Giveaway for you {it's still open! Enter before it closes!}, and I'll soon be bringing an Inglot giveaway your way. Exciting, right? So, yes, I really like the way this year is headed!

P.S: I turn 30 on Feb 11. I'm so freakkin' excited you have no idea! Someone shouldn't be this excited to turn 30, but I am!
