This week good things happened. Namely Margot Mouton of Orange Dust Photography agreed to take my pictures. This lady is so enormously talented (as you can see from the pictures) and I'm so grateful she's taking my pics! I'd been wanting to ask Margot to take my blog pictures for some time now but I was hesitant. I mean she's got a full-time job which pays her big bucks to take photos. Why would she want to do this for free for me and my li'l bloggy? But then I thought- What the heck, let me at least ask her. What's the worst that could happen? She'd say no. So I called her. And guess what? She said she'd been thinking of the same thing! YAY! And so we began yesterday. I couldn't be happier!

So, if you need something from someone, go ahead and ask. What's the worst that could happen? You'd get turned down. But what's the best that could happen? You could be on the road to achieving your dreams.

On a style note, I kept it flirty and feminine today with this dress from Miss Selfridge. I love the bell sleeves and the bold floral print. To add to the girliness, I stacked on chunky bangles on both hands. I put on my favourite waist-cinching leather belt (I swear this baby goes with everything) and finished the look with these chunky heels. I love how the ankle cuff on the heels balances out the girliness of the dress.
