Mistakes make things better

Sometimes making a mistake leads to something better. Take the sleeves of this top for instance. They were too short. So we decided to attach lace to elongate them and now I can't believe how pretty they look! It totally adds to the princessy feel that's always there with bishop sleeves. My craze for 100% silk hasn't ended yet, so my mom got this printed silk from Madras, India. I absolutely love the colour and the floral print. You're probably going to be seeing some more silk tops soon cuz summer's here. If it were upto me I'd wear silk tops and shorts all summer long. But alas, my weak heart always gives into the temptation of all the other pretty clothes.

    You have really given a vintage-y feel to the silk blouse by adding those laces.. I love wearing ailk tops too! They are so light and flowy :)
