Top ring: Vintage, Bottom ring: Mango. |
Dress: Debenhams, Shoes: Miss Selfridge. Photos: Arif Feroze. It's been such a weird time. First I was on holiday for two weeks. I came back and went to work for a week, and then we had Eid holidays for 5 days. After 3 more days of work, here I am on the weekend. I've never felt lazier. Although I must admit as soon as I got back from vacation I've been practicing combat at home for hours, to make up for two weeks of lazing around on holiday. What I'm trying to say is, I can't wait for work and life to get back to normal. And I can't wait for my blogging to get back to normal. I feel like I've missed you all for ages! So finally, today's outfit post... A shift dress with bishop sleeves. I can't think of anything more elegant. I was tempted to wear black heels to match the appliqué work on the neck, but these beige bow heels contrasted so well I settled for them. I kept the jewelry minimal with just two rings that have black in them. I said this before, and I'll say it again- don't be afraid to contrast colours. Head-to-toe matchy-matchy is blasé. A pop of a different colour in the outfit makes you stand out. |
