The New Year is around the corner and everyone's flown off to different parts of the world. But not this girl. I'm taking a staycation right here in lovely Bahrain. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to travel, but everywhere else is colder than here and God knows that I can't stand the bloody cold! {Also, I'm not in the mood to go to Australia just now.}
So I've taken a week off of work to relax, and do some staycationing stuff. And on my list of super-exciting glamorous things to do are:
- Going shopping for things I need, like luggage, socks and gym-wear. {Shopping for things that are needed and not wanted. Ugh. Kill me. Kill me now.}
- Rearranging my cupboard. Yay! {That's not sarcasm.}
- Rearranging my room. Double yay! {Not sarcasm again.}
- My best friend is visiting from the States, so, spending time with her.
- Spending time with other friends.
- Shopping. {If shopping is not on a vacation/ staycation or frankly, ANY list of mine, you can safely assume I've been kidnapped by aliens and replaced by a doppelganger.}
- Reading. Reading. And more reading.
- Watching Big Bang Theory.
- Watching rom-coms.
- Sketching.
- Chasing my cat around the house and hugging him to death.
- And of course, SLEEPING.
I am SO looking forward to this staycation!
On a style note, I swear I am never taking this coat off, because 1.) it's so warm, 2.) it's so comfortable, and 3.), it makes me feel like I'm in The Matrix.
