Colours and a blue sky.

Jacket: and Jeans: Zara, Top: H&M,  Boots: Aldo, Handbag: Mango, All jewelry: Vintage.
I started this outfit with my red jeans because I felt like they'd been neglected for some time. I love blue with red so I paired the jeans with a blue top. I added a white jacket as the neutral piece and finished the look with my tan boots. I was in the mood for vintage so my earrings, necklace and ring are all old. The weather, sky and sea were absolutely lovely and the perfect backdrop to all the colour I had on.

Purple high-low skirt

Top: Zara, Skirt: Lipsy, Boots: New Look, Necklace: Gifted, Sunnies: Vintage Raybans.
I had a choice of getting this skirt in white or purple. And though I was sorely tempted to get both, I got just the purple one {*Pats self on back for showing unusual amount of restraint*}.  I love how light the material is and that it overlaps in the front. I've always wanted a high-low skirt since the trend started but I was waiting for The One. And this skirt is it. I'm in love. May this skirt and my other tops have a long happy life together. Amen.

Windy day and my brain derailing

Coat: Mango, Top: Gifted, Jeans: Bershka, Boots: Steve Madden, Rings: left: Accessorize, Right: Posh, Sunnies: Vintage Raybans.
Work is crazy busy and hectic right now. It's like I've jumped aboard a moving train and I'm barely hanging on. I swear, every time I think of relaxing; voices in my head yell 'YOU'RE FORGETTING SOMETHING!'. If this continues my train of thoughts will soon be derailed. {Haha, I'm so funny.} But all the madness will soon be over and I'll take a well-deserved shopping break in Dubai. Right now, that's all that's keeping me going. The thought of beautiful, shiny, new shoes. Drool.

Wide leg floral pants

Top: Zara, Pants: TSKD Designs, Earrings:from India, Shoes: Steve Madden, Sunnies: Armani. Photos: Arif Feroze.
Wide leg pants are the most amazingly comfortable things to wear. It's like walking around in your pj's all day while looking effortlessly chic vs. just-tumbled-out-of-bed. They're another one of my projects stitched by my mom and designed by me. I love the gorgeous floral print. I've wanted floral pants forever but nothing in the shops turned me on. This cloth had been in my mom's closet for some time and when I pulled out her stack of materials and saw this, I screamed "PANTS! WIDE-LEG PANTS!" {I'm fun to be around}.
Funny how sometimes what you want has been with you all along, all it takes is some searching!

Gypsy skirt, infinity scarf and my favourite tweets

Top: Zara, Scarf: Pimkie, Skirt: Gifted.
The last few weeks have been a blur of activity. My brain feels so stuffed with information that I'm afraid if I tilt my head some of it will leak from my ears. And because I have nothing witty to say, I thought I'd share some of my favourite tweets {including mine!}.

You know what? I like this idea so much I'm gonna make this a regular thing. Also, it's perfect for when I'm brain dead!

P.S: Which one did you like the best?

Desert camping, bonfires and sweet ginger milk.

Photos: Arif Feroze

Going camping in the desert in winter is always fun. It was so cold, I had to wear two sweaters. Two! The best part was that we were under a beautiful full moon. We went with family, friends and lots and lots of food. The men set up a bonfire from scratch and then took turns in cooking the food while we took turns eating it. I can't remember any other night I have eaten so much food. Marinated mutton and chicken kebabs, roasted bell peppers, onions and cheese all slow roasted to perfection. After that we roasted marshmallows and sausages over the bonfire. And then washed it all down with the most amazing traditional sweet ginger milk.
