Pencil skirts are great for the office. Especially if you're as sick of pants as I am. I love that they're now available in more colors than the usual black, gray and navy blue. {Skirts, not pants.} And man was I glad I finally found a red pencil skirt! In my never-ending quest to find every piece of clothing in the color red, a pencil skirt was at the top. This Zara one is a dream because of the material, the fit and the length.

In this look I paired it with a white shirt and a pale blue blazer, to tone down the intense color of the skirt. {Although I AM itching to wear it with another bright color soon, for a more casual look.} I wore these gorgeous nude sandal heels and white gold jewelry to complete the look. Who says work-wear needs to be boring and colorless!
