On scarves and shopaholism

Dress: H&M, Scarf: Massimo Dutti, Cuff: F21, Ring: Red Ruby Silver, Watch & Earrings: Gifted, Clutch: Zara, Shoes: Dorothy Perkins.

Ever since I was sent this gorgeous printed cotton scarf from Massimo Dutti, I've been picturing in my head what I'd wear it with. After constructing and pulling down many outfits in my mind I finally decided that this scarf is too exquisite to not take centre stage. Which is why I decided to wear it over a simple gray pencil dress. I absolutely love the print on the scarf and I love the fact that it's so long. Usually scarves are too small for my height and wide shoulders and I end up looking like an Italian gondolier. This scarf is the perfect interest piece to add to an elegant understated dress like this. These blue pumps matched the blue in the scarf's print and I added a pop of color with the pink clutch. A smart cuff, floral earrings, a statement ring and watch completed the look.

If you're a shopaholic, let me know if my confession helped you. If you're not, let me know how you're such a balanced, mature, sane person. Just kidding. We're all insane.

Until next time, stay stylish. xoxox

  1. Love the outfit and the scarf...easy breezy and classy. I do understand the compulsion to shop as I have been around people like that. Glad that you've found balance...nothing beats a well tailored outfit. I miss that...I dislike shopping...yes...but only because finding clothes that fit my unbalanced proportions is quite traumatic...it was this way when I was a size 8...and it's this way at 10. Good post!
