You'd think I'd be cold in this outfit, wouldn't you? Surprisingly, I wasn't. At least not as cold I was expecting myself to be. And it's all because of these Uniqlo Heattech stockings. They have a technology in the clothing that retains heat, which is why my legs were warm and hence, I was.
I love the idea of a short skirt with stockings. It's cute without looking flippant. Since my basic outfit was monochrome, I added color with my scarf, bangles and clutch.
And since this is my last outfit post for 2014, I thought I'd end it with some fashion shopping resolutions for myself, for the new year.
- I will not buy anything to cheer myself up.
- I will get more wear out of the pieces I have in my wardrobe.
- More tailor-made, less store-bought.
- More silk. Lots and lots of silk.
- Every time I want to buy something, I will ask myself- do I need this?
- I will not buy high heels if they're in the least bit uncomfortable.
- I will not buy anything unless it makes me do a happy-dance in the fitting room when I try it on, or unless it's love-at-first-sight {for jewelry}.
- I will buy more good quality, roomy handbags. {I always prioritize clothes over bags.}
