It's a simple look in today's post: a loose top tucked into dark wash skinnies. The lace on the top makes it look delicate and feminine, and so I kept the jewelry delicate. I love the intricate hearts on this bracelet and the lattice work on the ring. The wide neck of the top allowed me to wear a short black pearl necklace. For shoes, I wore peep-toe lace sandals, adding to the casualness and overall softness of the look. My big bag adds a nice pop of color.

I think satin is such a great material for summer. It sits lightly on the body, and moves with you. I was nice and comfortable in this top the whole day, even though I drove around from one place to another getting work done and having meetings.

If you've been following me on my instagram and facebook, then you know that I've lately been obsessed with Jane Austen. I've just finished watching the 2005 BBC mini-series of Pride and Prejudice, I'm reading Persuasion, and I'm going to watch the 1940 movie of Pride and Prejudice soon. Ah, Mr. Darcy!
