Hello!

Hello!
Hi! I'm Shabana. I live in Bahrain. I'm a businesswoman by day and a fitness instructor by night. I believe that dressing up is the easiest way of loving yourself, and this blog is where I journal my outfits and my life. If you'd like to know more, click on the About Me tab on top. I hope you enjoy my blog!

Power dressing inspired by Suits

  Dress: Debenhams
Earrings and Necklace set, Watch: Gifted
Ring: Silver Souk
Bag and Shoes: Aldo
Photos: Arif Feroze

I have to admit that this entire outfit was inspired by the show Suits. It's one of my current favorites and apart from drooling over Gabriel Macht, another big reason I love watching it is the styling of the cast. It's all about power dressing- sharp suits for the men and perfectly tailored pencil dresses for the ladies. So when I stumbled across this fuchsia pink dress by Jasper Conran, my mind screamed 'SUITS!'. And I knew I had to wear it with these heels, and only a statement bag could be carried with it. Delicate jewelry and a statement watch complete this uber-formal look.

I can't wait for the next season of Suits to start on Wednesday. Although the only problem will be that my Suits-inspired-style craving will increase.

Note: You can wear formal clothes in bright colors. Just because it's pink doesn't mean it's less powerful!

Until next time,

xoxo

Shabana

  1. I adore photos shot during golden hour! It's so gorgeous! I love the bright fuschia! And I totally agree, just because it's pink doesn't make it less powerful. It's how you wear it and the confidence that radiates off you that makes you give out that powerful feel. :3

    1. Thanks! It also depends on the tailoring and cut of the clothes!
