I discovered this beautiful top hiding away in my mother's closet a few months back when I did a closet overhaul for her. She had had it for some time, and apparently had bought it for me a few years back but I didn't want it then {I know, what the hell was wrong with me then!}. NOW I'm absolutely in raptures about it. I love the soft pink, the gorgeous chikan embroidery, and the lovely, light cotton material. The high-collared neckline gives it a formal touch and the bell sleeves add a feminine flair. The sheerness of the material means I have to wear a camisole inside. I'm wearing a white one here but I think I'll try a pink one with it, too.

In this look I paired it with black skinnies for a sharp contrast. I love these black skinnies from Zara! They're so inky black they almost pass off as leggings. The material is stretchy without looking trashy, which also means they're super comfortable. I've raved about them in this post earlier as well. {See ALL my outfit posts as a gallery here.} For jewelry I wore a statement gold watch, pearl drop earrings, and a chunky blue bracelet to add a pop of color. On my feet I wore taupe pumps with gold accents to set off the gold jewelry. I finished with a seafoam envelope clutch. I love the combination of green and pink, as I'm sure you already know.

In other news, {yes I know this post is becoming long but I haven't posted in some time and I have so much to tell you!} I have been super crazy busy with work. Almost every day I've been waking up early, going out for meetings/ ministry visits/ immigration work, etc. and ending the day with teaching a class. I don't even have the time to take a nap! {A nap is really essential for me since it helps me recharge before going and teaching a power-packed class at the gym.} And I have even more classes now in the week so it's madness! This month in particular has been very frustrating. I've been running around all day trying to get a zillion things done, and it feels like I'm getting nothing done! A few things have come so close to within my reach and then got snatched away. Arrrrrgh! I blame the Mercury retrograde.

Enough from me. How have you been? Has the Mercury retrograde affected you as much? Are you busy or is life moving along at a good pace? I'd love to know, so leave me a comment below!

Until next time,

xoxo
