This pink cotton material was crying out to be made into a skirt. And you know that my love of pink borders somewhere on obsession. I can never have enough pink clothes. Or A-line skirts for that mater. I love how they flatter the female form and make me feel like a little girl again. I love the combination of pink and gray for a toned-down, sober-but-still-colorful look. This gray top has pretty lace patchwork on the sleeves which add interest to the whole outfit. I kept the rest of the outfit simple with small gold earrings and midi rings on both hands, while tan ankle strap heels give it a little more flamboyance. A satchel bag completed the ensemble.
It's been a hectic last few weeks but I'm enjoying it. Work and family have kept me so busy I've almost got no time to do blog posts. Heck, I'm struggling to find time to post on my Instagram and Facebook everyday! But it's all good. You always tend to get more things done when you're at your busiest. Or at least you learn to prioritize! And I guess blogging gets pushed to the bottom of my loooooong list of priorities. But when you really want to do something badly, you find creative and innovative ways to do it, right? Let's see what I come up with...
Until next time, xoxo
