I was lucky to have found this coat on sale on ASOS a few months back. I always say that you get great winter stuff for throwaway prices in the summer. A big black coat is so versatile for the winter as you can wear it over anything and it doesn't look dated. I love that this one is a wrap coat, so you're quite snug once it's secured with the belt. The big collar adds drama and the length is perfect if you're tall and want a coat that's slightly on the longer side. And of course, my favorite bit- nice deep pockets. Here I wore it over a dark green floral pussybow blouse paired with blush pink skinny trousers, and fancy black heels to balance the bulk of the coat. The dark green contrasts well with the lightness of the pants, and when the coat is closed, the black looks great against the pink of the pants. With so much going on with the clothes, I kept the accessories simple with just a few thin bracelets and simple earrings {not seen}.
