I love the vibe of tropical prints. They just seem so... happy. These pants combine my love of tropical prints and wide leg in one piece, which is why they're getting a lot of love {and wear} from me. The material is a slightly thick cotton, and the waist is elasticated. I 'formalized' these fun pants for work by wearing them with a serious black t-shirt, and added a structured navy jacket. I added some color on top with a multicolored necklace, and a bright ring. My big formal bag, a statement watch and classic pointed pumps shoes sharpen the look more.
We've just entered Ramadan {day 2 today} and I'm struggling to get my sleep cycle adjusted. I think I have a love-hate relationship with Ramadan. I love the late nights and the festivities and the night owl in me gets all excited, but I hate that I don't get enough sleep since I don't have time to snooze in the mornings/ afternoons. Ah, well. Sleep has always played hard-to-get with me.
