I finally colour coded my wardrobe, including my shoes. Doing this really helps you realize what colours you tend to buy more (I have way too many white tops) and what colours you need. It's also much easier to put outfits together when everything is separated by colour.
So now all my tops hang together, from black-grey-red-pinks-blue-green and whites..
All my bottoms, including jeans..
All my dresses and jackets, and a few skirts that are too long to hang in the other section..the gun-metal gray blazer and white shirt on the extreme right is my work uniform. Yep, I have a uniform for work and I'm glad. Saves me money to buy my blogger-ish clothes instead of boring formal work clothes!
My shoes. I have a LOT of black.
My shoe guardian.
So try colour coding your wardrobe, I guarantee it's a lot of fun and you realize what colours you're overdosing on. And it's an excuse to go shopping and get colours you don't have!
