This is a look loooooooong overdue. I've been meaning to do floral-on-floral for ages now, but I just didn't have the right clothes. And of course, the weather. Imagine me covered in head-to-toe floral in winter?! So now that the sun's out and smiling, I decided to finally go for it.
I picked this top as the white contrasts with the black of the skirt. And of course, I adhered to the one rule you stick to when attempting floral-on-floral: making sure one print is bigger than the other. Here the print on the top is bigger and different than the skirt. Plus it's less prominent, an almost washed-out watercolor, so it doesn't make me look too flower-power-crazy. {I hope.} But yes, I do love floral and that it looks so soft and feminine and summery and... well... happy! So if you hate floral, I'm sorry, but you're probably going to be seeing more soon!
Looking good as always :)
