I've always loved the combination of fuchsia and red together, and was summoning up the courage to wear them ever since I got this skirt. On a bright blue morning I finally did. A simple v-neck fuchsia top, and an A-line pleated skirt. The stuff Valentine's outfit dreams are made of. Haha. I received this handbag as a birthday gift recently and I knew it would be just the thing to tone down this bright ensemble. On my feet I wore chunky black pumps to add a bit of neutral and more substance to the look. I accessorized with a pearl necklace, chunky bangles and a statement watch.
On another note, have you ever been so busy that when you finally finish your day's work, you feel like there must be something wrong? Yeah. That's me, this week. And the problem with working for yourself is that you don't know when to stop. I find myself working into the night and have to tell myself to STOP, shut down the laptop, it can wait until tomorrow.
The few things keeping me sane are meeting friends during the busy workweek, and knowing I have a holiday coming up soon and I can finally, FINALLY, take a break. While at the same time panicking even more because I have to finish everything and wrap up loose ends before I go on vacation! Argh!
Until next time,
xoxo
