Turquoise Water and Top, and Holiday Pants

Life is funny. Nothing happens, nothing happens and then BAM!
Everything starts happening.
All at once.

Recent events in my life have gotten me all muddled up and chaotic. Everything feels like rush, rush, rush and I have to remind myself to BREEEEATHE. Work is hectic, with a million things going on, and of course, I have my fitness classes almost every night. I also have to tie up the last few loose ends of my holiday booking and planning, and at the same time I'm trying to get my business registered. On top of all that when other things happen, I'm like- Oh-kayyy life, you can stop now. Maybe leave a few things for later, hmm?

Current frustrations aside, as the temperatures have gone up recently, I found myself reaching for these red floral print tapered pants again and again. These are THE perfect holiday pants and I can't wait to take them with me on vacation! Being tapered they don't stick to the skin and since the material is a light cotton they're airy and super-comfortable to move around in. And because they're cropped, they make it easy to walk fast. You don't have material flapping at your ankles.{I walk a LOT on holiday.} And of course, the fun tropical print!

Today I paired them with a loose turquoise top. I lurrrve the color of the top, deep and rich, inky turquoise.{And how cool is it that the water was also turquoise when we took these pictures?}. The boat neck and cap sleeves makes it look elegant in the front while the open back adds a playful touch. I accessorized with a few colorful glass bangles and colorful silver earrings. With all the color going on, I kept my shoes and bag in neutral shades. And given how comfortable I was in this combo, you'll probably see the same outfit on me when I'm on vacation!

Until next time, stay sane.

xoxo
