Last evening as I was driving to the gym, a gorgeous thing happened. My car was showered with flowers. Ok, nothing to get excited, there was no handsome man involved. I was under two trees that were in full bloom. A strong gust of wind led to lovely yellow and pink petals being showered all over my car. (To be honest, there were a few leaves, too, but who cares?) It was such a beautiful gesture from Mother Nature and I silently thanked her for it.

There was one flower that got caught on my car's bonnet. I really wanted it, so I drove very carefully and kept my eye on it, almost having an accident. But as much as I tried, another gust of wind blew it away. But that's always how it is. Sometimes you really want to keep something that isn't meant for you to keep. In one swift movement it's taken away from you. Sometimes it's easy to forget, like my flower, sometimes it's bloody hard. But you have to get over it. Life's all about moving on.

On a lighter note, I love my pink heels! :-)
