Stripes and Jitters

Last night my brother let me drive to the gym so that I can learn the roads. I don't think anything gives you more confidence in a new city than getting to know the roads. And as I was driving, the enormity of what I've done hit me. That I've moved from tiny little to Bahrain to the ginormous United Arab Emirates. To give you a better idea, here's a map of Bahrain and UAE.
Dubai as a city is more than twice as big than Bahrain as a country! (Dubai is 4114 square km and Bahrain is...wait for it.. a puny 665 square km.) Now that I've moved here, I realize there's so much to learn and so much to absorb. And sometimes that thought scares me. But like yesterday, I was really nervous when I started driving and my brother was teaching me the way to the gym and back home. But the sense of achievement I felt after I reached home and realized 'I can do this!' was worth all the jitters.

  1. ..You´re the most beautiful girl I´ve seen in all my life...your smile is directly proportional to my happiness...what else can I say?No need more words to express a rotund truth...
