That's the power of accessorizing. This outfit, without the accessories and the clutch, would make me look like a lady of the night. I'm wearing everything that would pander to the stereotypical image of a hooker that US and Hollywood has painted in our minds- top, mini skirt, netted tights, boots. But what changes this to elegant are the accessories. Because I know that the outfit could come across as trashy, I deliberately wore expensive and expensive-looking jewellery. The pear-drop earrings, my delicate white gold necklace, white gold ring. All of these immediately lifted the outfit from trashy to glam. The finishing touch- the clutch. {I rhyme! I'm so talented.} And we go from lady of the night to lady of the party.
