Hello!

Hello!
Hi! I'm Shabana. I live in Bahrain. I'm a businesswoman by day and a fitness instructor by night. I believe that dressing up is the easiest way of loving yourself, and this blog is where I journal my outfits and my life. If you'd like to know more, click on the About Me tab on top. I hope you enjoy my blog!

TATI, French for value, variety and vastness

A new shop has opened in Bahrain. It's French. And it's HUGE.

TATI, the French department store, recently opened in Bahrain. This 'Fair Cost' store is spread across 37,000 square feet {!!!} , and has everything from men's clothes to women's clothes to home decor to beauty products to... wait for it.. bridal wear!

I had visited the store before its official opening on Wednesday. We were astounded as to how gigantic the place was, and how many things it carries! We entered, saw women's clothes. Walked further. Lingerie. Okay. And then... What the... ! Bridal wear! After admiring some of the beautiful and avant-garde gowns, we saw a huge accessories section, then another wtf moment- shampoos and other self-care items. Okay... this store was nothing but full of surprises. By now we couldn't stop giggling because we felt like we were in a magical place that never ends. And as we walked even further in, we came upon home decor! Scented candles and bed sheets and baskets and toilet seat covers and photo frames and fry pans and kitchen ware... whew! And all of it is really, really cute!

Enough of me yammering on, take a look-

Looks great, doesn't it?

Dating back to the late 1940's, TATI is a value fashion concept that prides itself on being a store that has extremely competitive prices, for an enormous range of products. I in particular loved the home decor section with its funky colorful mugs, pretty jars, variety of baskets, Chinese paper lanterns, ottomans, and other gorgeous stuff you can add to your home as interest pieces. I know I'll be visiting frequently to grab a few knick-knacks!

The shop is located on the first level of Bahrain City Centre. But be warned- make sure you have plenty of time to really check everything out!
