.., in case something happens to this one. When I put on this skirt I was thinking to myself that I wish I had gone back to Zara and bought a few more of these. Now I can only hope to get one that's such a great fit and as comfy as this one. And of course, hope that this one doesn't fall to pieces anytime soon.
The black pencil skirt is such a versatile item. It goes with every top and it beats pants any day. I wore this outfit yesterday. I dressed formally as I was a panelist at a university to talk to business students about what it takes to start and run their own business. Such a great feeling to be able to talk to and help students. I wish I could do more of it.
Baby pink and black make for a great combination, and I added a pop of color with the blue pumps. I've worn this blouse before, in this post, where I paired it with jeans for a casual look. I'll say it again- you don't need a vast wardrobe to create different looks, but a few basic pieces that you can mix and match and create lots of outfit combinations with. And of course, accessories complete a look, as with this one- an intricate cuff with pink gems, and dangly silver earrings with white gems. And the last few power pieces- a statement watch and a statement bag.
So how's your week going?
