Summer's here! The temperatures have hit 45 C already! Remember to stay hydrated, Bahrain readers! {I have two big bottles of water in my car and a small one in my purse at all times. Ah, the convenience of big bags!}

In such heat a cotton shift dress is a blessing. Loose and comfortable, while still looking chic. AND it's suitable for work. While designing this one, I kept it simple and added a beautiful lace piece on each sleeve. Since the length of a shift dress gives ample space to wear long necklaces, I accessorized with this peacock necklace. Some pretty silver drop earrings and silver rings completed the jewelry. I matched red pumps to my red bag, and of course, finished with red lipstick.
