It's true. I'm feeling festive already. Like I mentioned in my last post, I love this time of year. There's just so much happening - exhibitions, fairs, concerts, ballet, people out and about, enjoying the weather. And of course, I'm looking forward to December when it gets really festive with Bahrain's National Day lighting up the town in red and white lights, and Christmas and New Year right after. And even though I don't celebrate any of them, it's impossible to not get caught up in the cheerful atmosphere.
But to be really, really honest, feeling festive is just an excuse I made up to wear this skirt and top. Haha. I had this skirt as a full maxi version, {you might remember it from this post}. I wore it a few times and got tired of it's cumbersome fullness and layers. So I chopped off half of it and ta-da! Pretty, pretty tulle midi skirt. I dressed up this dressy skirt even more in this outfit by wearing it with a sequinned crop top, and finished with red pumps for an end-of-year-happy-vibe. Maybe the next time I'll try to dress it down with a casual top, but who am I kidding- I'm always going to choose glam and girliness.
