I'm completely in love with this top, with its soft, chiffon-like material, the perfect fit and the details. I don't usually wear black as I find it boring and common, but the ruffle sleeves in this blouse make it look elegant and add that little bit of flair. I paired it with rose pink pants for a contrast, the colors as well as the texture, as the top is silky and the pants are a linen mix. I accessorized with gold accents - a statement watch, ring and statement earrings, and metallic gold pumps to match.
This is a festive time and if you're wondering why I'm not doing any party outfits, it's because I'm buried with work and being the introvert that I am, I like to stay as far away from parties as possible. My foot is on the gas at work, never stopping for a moment, and with all the festivities and chaos going on, I find it hard to find peace this time of year. I enjoy it at the beginning of the season, but by the end I want to run screaming for the hills. I'll be glad once we're in the new year!
