Hello!

Hello!
Hi! I'm Shabana. I live in Bahrain. I'm a businesswoman by day and a fitness instructor by night. I believe that dressing up is the easiest way of loving yourself, and this blog is where I journal my outfits and my life. If you'd like to know more, click on the About Me tab on top. I hope you enjoy my blog!

Mint + Plum Cocktail

I had actually chosen this simple floral top for my mother from Romwe, but once it arrived, we realized it's too short for her taste, so I kept it. I'm a sucker for floral anyway and mint colors are always welcome in my wardrobe. I paired it with my deep plum skirt to bring out similar shades in the print. With words like mint and plum being used to describe colors and clothes, I feel like a recipe. Haha.

Because this outfit is a simple top with a no-fuss skirt, I added a bit of flair with all-pearl accessories of a necklace and earring set, and a pearl ring. For a little more drama I finished with ankle strap pumps in tan and a statement bag matching my heels. With the beiges and tans in this outfit, I can't help but think that it would look so great with a classic beige trench coat worn over it. I haven't found the perfect trench for me yet, but this article on how to style a trench coat is tempting me to start my search in earnest again.

Last week I found a tiny kitten on the road near where I live, covered in filth and mud. I brought her back home, we cleaned her up and decided to keep her. We decided to call her Mili. She has been taking up almost all of my time lately, and I'm happy to give it to her. {She's playing in my lap and on my desk as I type this}. Follow me on Instagram to see her adventures and to get spammed by photos and videos of her.

Ramadan is coming up and it's time to get some pretty clothes made for the ghabgas and other parties during the month, and of course, for Eid. If you haven't checked out our latest Ramadan and Eid collection of Lace Love, do it quick! We've got some gorgeous lace for Ramadan jalabeyas and other occasion wear for Eid, as well as some beautiful lace material that you can make complete dresses out of. {Mom and I are already doing the same}. Don't forget, we offer stitching as well. Check out our collection on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Until next time,

xoxo
