A few quick pointers on heels...

Since I did an androgynous look yesterday, I just had to throw on a dress and heels today. These are 5.5 inches high. The 6 inch heel still eludes me, but I WILL find it. I still get asked by a lot of people how I can walk in them. To which I always want to reply, "By putting one foot in front of another, moron", but I don't because my mother taught me to be polite. But seriously ladies, it's not at all difficult walking in heels. Here are a few quick pointers on wearing heels:
  • If you've never worn heels before, I'd recommend starting with 3.5 inch heels. Not 3 inch or kitten heels. Because...well...they're just plain ugly. Moving on...
  • Make sure they're very comfortable and of your size when you try them on. Don't buy heels that are smaller than your size no matter how gorgeous they look. Comfort is key.
  • Try wiggling your toes when they're on. If you can wiggle them, they'll be easy to walk in.
  • Try to find platform heels, like the ones I'm wearing. (Mine are double platforms.) If the platform is 2 inches high and the heel is 5.5 inches, then 2 subtracted from 5.5 makes the heel only 3.5 inches high. You get a shoe that's more stable and easy to walk in, plus you're taller because of the platform.
  • The shoe will expand. So if it's in your size but still a little tight, go home, put on thick socks and walk around the house to break them in. You can also do this if it's your first pair of heels.

Now go get yourself some height. xox

These are great tips and I'll be sure to refer back to them the next time I decide to wear heels ^.~

I read a comment you made on someone else's post. You quoted a short story:

" 'A wise man once sat in the audience & cracked a joke. All laughed like crazy. After a moment he cracked the same joke again and a little less people laughed this time. He cracked the same joke again & again, when there was no laughter in the crowd, he smiled and said,
“ 'When u can’t laugh on the same joke again & again, then why do u keep crying over the same thing over and over again' ' "

I just wanted to thank you for sharing that. It made my night, and will probably make my week ^.^

    Happy Holidays, Shabana!
May your time be filled with grace and cheer (>^.^)>
