I QUIT

My job, that is. I used to be the Marketing Manager for a large automotive dealership here in Bahrain. A little over 2 months ago I handed in my resignation {I had a 2 months notice period}.

Why did I resign? Because it stopped being fulfilling. I used to enjoy marketing and advertising immensely. And my biggest career goal while in school was to become a marketing manager. I'm satisfied that I achieved that goal but after almost 2 years, I realized that I stopped enjoying it. It became a chore.

So I quit.

I've always been the kind of person who can't tolerate unhappiness at work. This is the third job that I quit without having any other job lined up {which always surprises people} simply because I wasn't happy doing it anymore. I've never regretted it. Closing doors has always led me to open new ones leading to new paths.

And the new path here is freelance fitness instructing. For almost a year now I have been giving BODYCOMBAT™ and other fitness classes at a reputed gym. I absolutely, truly enjoy this. Because I was working from 8-5, I could give these classes only during the evenings. I'd rush at sharp 5 pm from work to the gym. But now that I've freed up the 8-5 time range, I can give more classes. YAY!

I'm super-excited to start on this new journey. I'll be studying and training to get a few more fitness certifications but more on that later.

Of course, all this also means that I have more time to post on this blog. More time to do outfit posts, more time to write Style Speak and Life! posts, do tutorials {How To's} and review products

WOOHOO!

So until the next post, stay stylish! xoxox
